Umang
Umang is an initiative that strives for an inclusive society that provides equal opportunity for all, by enhancing the quality of life of individuals with various disabilities. Starting February 2017, a new pair of students visit Umang once each week, on a rotation basis. Umang is located about 100 metres away from our school, so the commute is easy. At Umang, we volunteer to help out the teachers in the classrooms by assisting students in their daily school activities, such as writing and reading words aloud in order to pronounce them correctly and with better clarity. The students are quite friendly and perceptive. It has been and will continue to be an enriching, yet challenging, experience for our lot.
